The highly anticipated Scottish Cities Alliance Smart Cities private lunch is back for MIPIM 2019. Smarter than ever with panellists including Amanda Clack of CBRE, and Graham Hill of Arcadis, Smarter Together will deliver informative and entertaining discussions around the role of collaboration in city innovation, with a strong focus on the Smart Cities agenda.

One of the highlights of MIPIM 2018 was to be invited to contribute to the Scottish Cities Alliance Smart Cities Breakfast.  It is about time that we start to understand how Smart Cities can be developed with wellbeing and mental health in mind.  For the first time in years, it was enlightening to hear the more human aspirations become identified in a topic usually focusing around digital interface and infrastructure.

Ann Marie Aguilar, Director of Operations in Europe, WELL

The roundtable was a fascinating conversation that was clearly focusing on how to add the human element to the smart city conversation. This is probably the most challenging element as it’s hard to standardise people given our nuances in perception of wellbeing and quality of life.

Josh Artus, Director & Co-Founder, The Centric Lab
