The event gathers leading European smart cities experts to discuss the latest developments on the topic of Smart Cities, to share knowledge and to open up for collaboration. The host Scottish Cities Alliance (SCA), a collaboration of Scotland’s cities, is on track to turn its cities into world-leading digital hubs with the aim of making services across Scotland’s cities more efficient and greener. SCA will be discussing its own Smart Cities initiatives as well as opening the conversation to the table.

Susan Aitken, the leader of Glasgow City Council and Scottish National Party politician, representing Scottish Cities Alliance. Glasgow is leading on the smart cities development in Scotland.

An advocate of the impact of Space Design on Human Behaviour & Performance, Ann Marie is an architect, formerly Associate Director at Arup Associates.

Shain Shapiro, Founder & CEO, Sound Diplomacy

Joe Dignan, founder of Kintechi has thirty years’ global experience and is a recognised international speaker and chairman on smart cities. Recent Events have included eDubai, eIndia, Smart Cities Africa and his research focus while Chief Analyst for EMEA Public Sector for OVUM was dedicated to smart cities.

Debra Mountford, Project Manager, OECD
Debra has worked on urban policy and city/metropolitan studies at the OECD since 1997. She qualified as an urban designer in the UK and lead the Urban Renaissance series covering urban regeneration, including Glasgow.

James Dearsley, Proptech Consult
James is a partner of Proptech Consult and has eleven years of experience in the property industry.

Maarteen de Haas, Physee
